Shankar, who is known for his generosity, is making Mersals all over Africa.
Director Shankar has no shortage of grandeur. Shankar was the first person in Tamil cinema to feature 7 wonders in one film. He is currently in South Africa for Indian 2. He is doing a quality job there for a story set in 1912.
In other words, a railway station that existed in 1912 still exists in South Africa. The government of that country is protecting him. After knowing this, Shankar went there and took those scenes as real and made Mersal. While some criticized Shankar for wasting the producer’s money, he had to fly to South Africa to actually shoot important scenes for the film.

Because he does it because the story requires it. It also guarantees double returns. Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Priya Bhavani Shankar has been shot in Africa and Taiwan.
The shooting of this film is going on continuously for the last few years. The reason for such delay is that it is a big film. Apart from this, some accidents also happened during the shooting. Due to this, the team has decided to wrap up the film soon. But there’s no compromising on grandeur alone.

Shankar is showing what he thinks in the film. It doesn’t matter how much it costs. He said that he would give all that for double and he also gave a guarantee of the production. It is being told that now about 80 percent work of the film has been completed.
And though the film is said to be produced by Lyca Subhashkaran, Red Giant Movies is behind it. Hence, the production company is ready to give whatever it takes to trust Shankar. Moreover, the film crew is planning to release Indian 2 on the upcoming Diwali after the completion of the shooting.
