Indian 2: As far as Tamil cinema is concerned, it is well known that Shankar means greatness. Even though he makes big budget films, he earns the profits he deserves. Now he is doing Indian 2 with Kamal and Game Changer with Ram Charan.
In such a situation, Lyca and Udhayanidhi are jointly producing Indian 2. The last shooting of this film is currently going on in full swing. In this context, Shankar has put together the footage taken so far recently. The film is approximately six hours long.

So Shankar has decided to split it into two parts, Indian 2 and Indian 3. So we will have to shoot with Kamal for a few more days. In this connection, Indian 2 has been acquired by the popular OTT company Netflix.
It is also paying a huge amount to acquire the digital rights. Indian 2 film is made on a budget of around 250 crores. But Netflix has bought 90 percent of it i.e. 220 crores. Indian 2 film will be released on OTT only after its theatrical release.

That’s why Indian 2 movie will earn manifold profits in theatres. And now 90 percent of the budget of Lyca Indian 2 has come in hand. Everything that comes from now is profit. Till now the makers have been criticizing Shankar for being a spendthrift.
Shankar got the name of director with tremendous collection from Indian 2. So many years of hard work paid off. And Kamal’s fans are eagerly waiting to see when the Indian 2 update will come.
