It is strange, or maybe not so strange, that Aamir Khan never worked with the late and great Sridevi. However, he was planning it. Many years ago when I went to meet Aamir Khan, he narrated me a script which he had written keeping Sridevi in mind.

Shah Rukh Khan did just one film with the veteran actress, and that too in a guest appearance. The film was the directorial debut of action director Ram Sethi. ArmyGender-reversed version of Ramesh Sippy cinder In which Sridevi played the role of Gabbar Singh. Shah Rukh Khan played the role of her husband who is killed by the villainous Danny Denzongpa.
Shahrukh took up this role only to work with the magical Sridevi. But there was a problem: Shah Rukh Khan looked a tad younger than Sridevi. “No problem”, said Shah Rukh, “I’ll have a mustache for the first time.”
This is how Shahrukh prepared himself to look like Sridevi’s screen partner.
Army Sudesh Berry, Mohnish Behl, Ravi Kishan, Ronit Roy, Harish Kumar, Aasif Sheikh, Ashok Saraf, Kiran Kumar and Tinnu Anand also starred.
