Actor Goundamani: Koundamani returns to play the protagonist after a long gap in a full length political comedy film which will be enjoyed by everyone in the age group of 6 to 60 years. Kaundamani (2019), who made his mark in comedy in the 80s and 90s, toned down his acting to a great extent.
The reason for this is that due to growing age, he has decided to work only in his favorite films. 49-O was released in 2015 in which he played the lead role. Thereafter, he acted in films like ‘Meri Koi Shakha Nahi Hai’ and ‘Vaimai’.

After this he did not work in any film after 2016. Now after 7 years once again Koundamani is playing lead role in ‘Othada Otu Muthiya’. This film is produced by Shashi Films.
The film is written and directed by Sai Rajagopal. Yogi Babu, Motta Rajendran, Thambi Ramaiah, Vayapuri, Singam Puli, Muthukalai are also acting in this film along with Koundamani.
