Dashing actor Aditya Roy Kapur has been the talk of the town lately, and it̵7;s not just because of his rumored relationship with B-town’s young sensation, Ananya Panday. When pictures from the couple’s vacation surfaced on various social media platforms, the internet went awry, raising curiosity and excitement among fans. While many know him for his adorable looks and charm, only a few know about Aditya’s passion for rock music. Now, looks like the talented actor is all set to take his love for music to the next level, and plans to venture into singing for Bollywood films.
Aditya Roy Kapur forays into music; preparing to launch music album soon
In an exclusive interview with News18, Aditya Roy Kapur revealed that he is currently working on an album which may release soon. Music has always been much more than a hobby for him, and now he is taking it more seriously. Aditya shared, “I play music and now I am working on an album, hopefully I will come out with it soon. I’ve been in the studio and working on it. Music has always been a passion and hobby but now I am taking it more seriously.
Aditya has been passionately writing and composing songs for years, but until now, he has shared his musical creations only with close friends. However, now he feels it is the right time to showcase his talent to a wider audience, which includes his fans and people who understand and appreciate music.
“I have been writing songs and creating material for years for myself and my group of friends. I think the time has come for me to share what I have created with the world. So, yes, there will be something or the other to share with everyone,” expressed Aditya.
When asked if he was ever approached to sing in his films because of his passion for music, Aditya revealed, “It did come up as a possibility, but it never happened. I discussed it with Mohit (Suri) at that time Aashiqui 2, He wanted me to go to the studio just to sing the songs and get the feel of singing them as a singer as I was playing a singer in the film.
The actor also recalled a humorous incident at the recording studio during its making Aashiqui 2, Aditya shared, “So, I went to the studio and sang the songs Romance Full-on, no matter how bad I look. I think they muted me on my side in the studio, but I felt like I was singing on my side and I got it out of my system.
Though Aditya has tried his hand at singing earlier as well, he clarified that he has not yet lent his voice for any film. However, the idea of singing for a film is not entirely wrong for the actor. He said, “I have not sung in any film but I am sure it will happen sometime in the future. I believe that be it Hindi or English, a song is a song. But if I want to do it properly for a film, I would like to do a little work on singing in Hindi.
The actor’s passion for music adds a new dimension to his current career. As fans eagerly await the release of his upcoming album, it is clear that Aditya Roy Kapur’s artistic pursuits go beyond acting, making him a multi-talented star worth watching in the entertainment industry.
