For her wedding weekend, the blushing bride had three Chanel dresses, including the one she wore to her rehearsal dinner the day before. The dress she wore on the actual day was delicate, with iridescent white sequins and a criss-cross neckline, and was modeled after a piece from Chanel’s autumn 2023 collection. The dress had an inside writing that read “S&E” for her “something blue”. The two heart decorations that face each other on the dress serve as another representation of the relationship between the couple.
Sophia worked with Chanel creative director Virginie Viard to bring the vision of her wedding dress to life, and although she admitted she previously wanted a ‘princess dress’ as she got older she realized she Wants something ‘a little more simple’.
Atop the scalloped top of the dress, her face was covered with a veil as she glowed in gorgeous makeup. The bride admitted she had always dreamed of a ‘big princess dress’ when she was younger, but opted for a more ‘simple’ style instead. Speaking to Vogue, she offered her wishes for her husband’s reaction to her wedding dress: ‘I honestly think Elliot is going to love it. He is my biggest cheerleader when it comes to whatever I wear. If he doesn’t cry, I will be very sad.’
The groom cut a dapper figure in a black tuxedo and bow tie as he stood alongside his father, Lucian Grange, and stepmother, Caroline Grange.
