After teasing fans with some posters, the makers of Raksha Bandhan released the official trailer of the film online some time back. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, the story of the film revolves around the story of a family that sees Akshay Kumar as the brother of 4 sisters. The first part gives a glimpse of all the struggles he went through for the marriage of his sisters. At the same time, Bhumi Pednekar is playing his love interest. The trailer launch of Raksha Bandhan took place in Delhi and the event saw Akshay Kumar reacting to the box office clash of his film with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
Akshay Kumar was last seen in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s directorial venture Samrat Prithviraj which failed miserably at the box office.
At the trailer launch of Raksha Bandhan, when Akshay Kumar was asked about the release date of his film Laal Singh Chaddha, he refrained from calling it a clash. The superstar said that due to the novel coronavirus, the release date of the film may get delayed. The co-stars of Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya LSC and RB will hit the big screen on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan i.e. August 11.
At the trailer launch of Raksha Bandhan, Akshay Kumar He was heard saying, “This is not a confrontation. It’s about good films coming together. And, it’s a big day. Many films could not be released due to Kovid-19 and some are still waiting to get the release date. So, it is natural that more films will release simultaneously. I hope both the films do well.”
