Amy Schneider Continues ‘Jeopardy!’ Victory Streak To Become Second Winningest Contestant Ever

Amy Schneider continued it Danger! Winning her 39th game in a row tonight, Ken became the second most winning contestant in the show’s history behind Jennings.

With today’s win, the Oakland, Calif. engineering manager became No. 2 on the game show’s list of all-time consecutive wins, with his winning total now totaling $1,319,800.

Jennings has held the top spot with 74 wins since 2004 (he’s hosting Danger! during Schneider’s streak).

“It still feels unrealistic,” Schneider said in a statement. “Knowing that I had this opportunity, I was definitely thinking about it. Then Ken said this, and I thought, ‘Okay, I just finished this huge job’ and this it was awesome.” Schneider beat the 38-game record set earlier this season by Matt Amodio, who is now No. 3 on the all-time win list.

Schneider and Amodio will face each other in the next edition of the Tournament of Champions.

In his statement, Schneider directed a message to Amodio: “It’s an honor to play against you, and it’s going to be a tough competition.”
