Tehmina JafferRecently joined by the President of Business Affairs and Operations on Anonymous Content Disney branded television As EVP business matters. Jaffer will replace Edina Savin, who has dropped out after leading the business affairs department for nearly 23 years. The move comes as Io Davis, president of Disney Branded Entertainment, continues to strengthen his senior executive team.
In his new role, Jaffer will lead all aspects of business affairs, negotiation and contract administration for Disney Television Animation and Disney-branded television live-action content created for Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior. Based in Burbank, CA, Jaffer will report to Davis.
During his time at Anonymous Content, Jaffer oversaw all of the company’s business operations, including human resources, facilities and IT, in addition to business affairs. His move also marks a return to Disney for Jaffer. Prior to Anonymous, Jaffer was Senior Vice President of Business Affairs for Disney+, overseeing business affairs for global scripted and unscripted series content.
Prior to Disney+, Jaffer held business affairs roles at Netflix and NBCUniversal. After getting his start as a litigator at Latham & Watkins LLP, he also served on the ABC Studios legal affairs team, where he focused on IP and general litigation.
