Shailesh Lodha has given a big blow to the show runner as well as his fans by sending a legal notice to Asit Kumar Modi, the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. And in a recent interview with ETimes, Modi shared that he had received the notice a few months ago and could not understand why he would do this. The producer says that he has never refused to clear his dues. Modi says they regularly sent him mails and reminders to collect his dues and sign paperwork, as is the case with every organisation. Asit Kumar Modi shared that Shailesh was not agreeable to complete those formalities.
Asit says that when people work together, minor differences are bound to happen. The producer revealed that Shailesh wanted to work out but due to the requirement of the daily soap, the production house could not manage it and they had a small fight. After that Shailesh did not return to the show.

Asit Kumar Modi also reacted to the cryptic post shared by Shailesh Lodha on his Instagram handle, taking a dig at the producer. He says that Shailesh talks about self-respect and a producer also has self-respect. He shares that the actor and poet is targeting him with couples which does not suit him. He says, “I feel hurt by her behavior as we share a good relationship. I have never bad-mouthed her and have respected her work.” The producer said that Shailesh left the show and offered him three months’ notice. However, the actor refused to meet him. The show runner says that he fails to understand how the makers of the show got spoiled overnight after leaving the show.
