Produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios and R. Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s fantasy entertainer ‘Ayalan’, written and directed by Ravikumar, has kept fans excited since the time it was announced.
Now Kotpadi J.Rajesh of KJR Studios has officially confirmed that the film will have a worldwide theatrical release on the festive occasion of Diwali this year.
KJR Studios said: “We are excited to announce that our passion project – Ayan will have a worldwide theatrical release on Diwali 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. We have put our heart and soul into this film. Despite some hiccups along the way, we are progressing in a manner that we are very happy about. After all these hurdles, we are very happy to announce the release date of our film.
Adding more on the project, the production house said: “With Ayalan, we did not want to compromise on quality as it will have the highest number of CGI shots for a pan-India film. Therefore, we needed time to achieve perfection. We are very happy to inform you that ‘Ayalan’ will be the first full-length live-action film of Indian cinema, with over 4500+ VFX shots, with the alien character playing a pivotal role throughout the film. At this point, I want to thank Phantom FX, the company behind so many Hollywood movies, they have done exceptional CG work for Aylan. We would also like to thank all our fans for your unwavering patience and support. We promise the wait will be worth it.
Aylaan is a fantasy entertainer starring Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh as the main characters. AR Rahman Composing the music and lyrics are by Vivek & Madan Karki.

Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Banupriya, Balasaravanan and many more are part of the star cast.
The cinematography of the film is done by Nirav Shah, while editing is done by Ruben. Production Design by Bejoy Arputharaj of Phantom FX, VFX by T. Muthuraj.
The dance choreography is done by Ganesh Acharya, Paresh Shirodkar and Satish Kumar, while the costumes are designed by Pallavi Singh and Neerja Kona.
The poster design has been done by Gopi Prasanna.
