Sony Entertainment Television̵7;s popular show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is back for the third season with Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar reprising their roles as Ram Kapoor and Priya Sood. The fan-favourite pair is being loved as #RaYa for their cute banter, relatable moments and light-heartedness in bringing alive a mature romance drama. In the new season of the show, Priya is a dentist while Ram is the founder of a popular food delivery app called India Eats.
Bade Acche Lagte Hain 3: Ram Kapoor’s mother will send ‘Shaadi Ka Rishta’ for Priya Sood
In the current track, Priya Sood and Ram Kapoor are living separate lives. Priya is dating Yuvraj while Ram Kapoor is dating a model named Kriti. Ram confesses to his mother Shalini, played by Supriya Shukla, that he is in a relationship but refrains from revealing her name due to his dislike for his mother’s work.
In a twist of fate, Shalini assumes that the girl is Priya. Her belief is further confirmed when she sees Ram and Priya being photographed together by the media, leading to rumors about the business tycoon Kapoor’s dating life. Hoping to preserve the relationship, Shalini sends a ‘marriage proposal’ to Priya’s family.
Speaking about the upcoming sequence, Supriya Shukla, essaying the role of Ram’s mother, Shalini said, “A mother always wants to see her child find a suitable life partner. Similarly, my character Shalini is on cloud nine, this knowing that her son is dating someone. She accepts him and moreover, whom she admires. She always wanted a girl who would love Ram for who he is. Through Priya, she sees a wish come true. An event in Ram and Priya’s lives that will change life as they knew it is a moment that will redefine their relationship, their lives intertwined in more ways than one .
