Former Bigg Boss season 15 contestant Umar Riaz exited the show after a physical fight with co-contestant Prateek Sahajpal. host Salman Khan Announced in Weekend Ka Vaar that Umar got less votes and was thrown out of the house. After Umar was evicted from the Bigg Boss 15 house, his fans called the eviction unfair. After coming out of the house, Umar thanked all his fans for their immense love and support. Recently, Umar told how his brother Asim Riaz was affected by the untimely death of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla.
Umar said that when Asim came to know about Siddharth’s death, he was shocked. She also added that though Asim and Sidharth ended up as rivals on the show, the two shared a great bond together. Bollywood Hungama quoted him as saying, “It was like a shock when I heard Asim and called. He was very down, about to cry. He really cried a lot. Whatever happened on the show, there was a close relationship between them. Somehow they could not connect outside. However, I am sure the two wanted to get back together considering the bond they have. This was really devastating news for us. And as soon as Asim heard about it, he rushed to the hospital to be with his family and show his affection.
In an interview with indianexpress.com, Umar talked about Sidharth just before entering the house. He said that he lost a friend in Siddharth and will miss him inside the house. “His death came as such a shock. Asim lost a brother and we all lost a wonderful soul. I pray and hope that his family finds strength. Entering the show where I met and interacted with him is going to be emotional. He will be missed from inside, and I wish he was around to see me enter the show,” said Omar.
Siddhartha died of a heart attack in September last year.
