BB 16: Pearl supports close friend Shalin on being questioned about his loyalty towards Tina

During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 16, the host Salman Khan Shaleen Bhanot was asked to press the buzzer to save her friends Tina Dutta and Sumbul Touqueer from being deprived of the Rs 25 lakh winning cash prize. Shaleen didn’t ring the buzzer and Tina was thrown out of the house. While netizens questioned Shaleen’s loyalty towards Tina, her close friend and actor Pearl V Puri supported Shaleen’s actions. “I have known Shaleen for years, one thing that comes to my mind is his quality of always being with his friends, he is close to his parents. I have seen him in his good times and also during his struggles I think I can guarantee one thing that this man hasn’t changed a bit in a decade. He’s a good friend,” Pearl told Pinkvilla. Pearl also said that Bigg Boss is a tough game and people should not be judged about their personality based on their reactions inside the house. He said that sometimes people do such things which they do not mean. He insisted that their actions should be treated as a game where one wins and the other loses. Meanwhile, Tina is once again brought back on the show when Bigg Boss once again gives Shalin the option to redeem her actions at the cost of losing Rs 25 lakh from the prize money. However, Tina calls Shalin a fake friend for not saving her from elimination and argues why she didn’t press the buzzer when she was leaving and why suddenly now. He also said that he saw her dancing and singing after leaving the house.

The strangest thing was when Shaleen told Sreejita Dey And Archana Gautam said that he never liked Tina and only liked her for chicken and accompanying her for food. He said that he was only concerned about his food and so was she so the only thing he was missing was. He further said that he would not even talk to the girl after leaving the house as she would have his restaurant outside.
