BBC To Air Podcast ‘Boris’, All About UK’s Former PM, Just Two Days After He Quit Downing Street

BBC Political reporter Adam Fleming will launch ‘Boris’, a podcast dedicated to the life and times of the former UK prime minister boris johnson On Saturday 9 July, just two days after Johnson left Downing Street.

Fleming, who hosts the BBC podcast ‘Newscast’, and his guests will tell the story of Johnson – the man who came to be known as “Boris” – and who rose to the nation’s highest office.

The series will tell the story of Johnson, from boy to man to prime minister. Each week, Adam will be joined by guests who have seen, worked with and treated dozens of government ministers from early school years in Brussels and Eton following their resignations this week.

In Episode 1, Adam will discuss Johnson’s early years until the end of his time in his high-class schooling at Eaton. He will be joined by political journalist and author of ‘Boris – The Making of the Prime Minister’, Sonia Purnell, author and journalist and author of ‘Just Boris: A Tale of Blonde Ambition’, and Michael Cockrell, broadcaster and author.
