English star Benedict Cumberbatch has talked about playing different versions of his beloved character Doctor Strange in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. He called it strange because stand-ins or stunt doubles were used as “kinds of markers”.
While playing different versions of Doctor Strange was exciting to Cumberbatch, he also admitted that it was challenging.
Benedict Cumberbatch said, “I literally have a scene in which I have a second version, a very important scene at the end, where we meet Sinister Strange, as we nicknamed her. It’s complicated. It’s difficult. . It’s a very strange day at the office.”
Benedict Cumberbatch said, “You’re working with someone else’s stand-in or stunt double. And you have to remember your performances, even if you’re using them as markers of where they are.” Where were. It’s so weird. But it’s through the post and everything else that we’ve managed to finesse and correct. And it’s fun.”
Directed by Sam Raimi, the film is a sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange, which starred Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange aka Doctor Strange. In the film, Doctor Strange’s new adventure begins when Cumberbatch meets America Chavez (Xochital Gomez), a unique teenager who can open doors from one universe to another.
