Actor Boman Irani is happy to jump on the OTT bandwagon as its location has given artists an opportunity to test their craft and explore characters in a variety of content.
Arriving on the OTT scene, Boman came up with the portrayal of a gray character in ‘Masoom’. He plays the role of Balraj Kapoor, a respected doctor. doctorWho is trying his best to suppress some family secrets.

The series follows the events that unfold after the death of Dr Balraj Kapoor’s wife and sets off a thrilling ride, with deeply buried family secrets from the past at the center.
Boman Irani said: “A big part of the success of the series goes to writer Satyam Tripathi, director Mihir Desai and the great team that we had on production including my co-stars Samara Tijori, Upasana Singh, Manjari Phadnis, and Sarika. Singh. We were on the same page of creativity; that’s how everything aligned and such a chain happened.”
The actor said that playing with each other’s energy is something that can never be written in a script.
“It is an experience actors have when the camera starts rolling and they are draining their emotional reservoir for their performance. I believe that every role should be different from the other as every human being is different from the other.
Boman Irani shared that he did a gray essay Character in this series and I liked it.
“It’s always more palatable to play a gray shade than to be fooled as an actor.”
