Things are starting to get better in Hollywood as well as in India as the collection is somehow getting back on track. Not that we are seeing hits or superhits here yet, because there was a time when Hollywood movies were also doing regular 50 crore Plus business in India, be it action franchises or horror movies. In fact the likes of the Avengers, Fast and Furious, Jurassic Park and Mission: Impossible franchises have gone to the next level in India. Same goes for animation films like The Lion King and The Jungle Book, which have been blockbusters.
compared to movies, when Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings pass past 200 million Mark or now the latest release No Time to Die is on its way to manage the same numbers, it may seem like little. However, this is still far better than the few million that the majority 18-20 Hindi movies that have been released since last November and so hopefully things will get better as they grow up Bollywood Movies also start coming.
No Time To Die gets off to a good start with the extended opening weekend of 12 crore* and so ready to cross 16 crore A Week of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The second week of the Marvel film was also good and so the race will be on for the James Bond film in a consistent manner. The feeling of watching a movie in theaters is now better than before amongst the audience and hence the story of revival is waiting to continue till the world of movies unfold across the country from 22nd October.
