In fact, Pathan, which enjoyed a five-day, extended opening weekend, has rapidly emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood releases in recent times. Now in its second week, the makers of Pathan National multiplex chains have reduced ticket prices for the film.
Reduced ticket prices as well as lack of competition in cinemas and of course, the hype around the film Pathan has seen its business remain less stable. In fact, looking only at the PVR chain of cinemas, Pathan Has been successful in crossing Rs. 100 crores. NETT mark and have collected Rs. 100.35 crores. as of yesterday. Not surprisingly, PVR is followed by other national multiplex chains like INOX and Cinepolis who have released the film for Rs. saw. 79.07 cr. and Rs. 43.91 cr. respectively.
This time, Pathan The film continues to run in theaters with audiences patronizing it. In fact, with lower ticket rates, trade predictions suggest that Pathan The coming weekdays are also likely to witness a steady rate of viewership. Looking at this scenario, the overall business of the film is bound to increase.
