    Britney Spears Thanks #FreeBritney Movement For “Freeing Me From My Conservatorship”

    less than a week after a California judge was fired Britney SpearsThe father, the one-time Princess of Pop, has addressed recent events and her fans directly for the first time since 2008.

    On a day when Facebook and Instagram were closed for hours, Spears took to Twitter to thank her #FreeBritney supporters for “your continued resilience in freeing me from my guardianship.”

    Earlier on Monday, the Toxic singer hinted that she might open up, at least a little.

As of last week, the elder Spears has essentially been in charge of her 39-year-old daughter’s $60 million fortune and a career spanning 13 years — the last two of which haven’t seen Britney perform or any music.

    With the recommended CPA in charge of the business part of Britney Spears’s life recently involved, the next scheduled court hearing on November 12th will indeed see the potential for an end to conservatism.
