The date October 13 marks the birthday of Jimin, a member of South Korean juggler BTS. The member became the talk of the town not only because of his birthday but also because of his philanthropic work. Today, it was officially announced that he has become a member of the Green Noble Club.
Korean tabloid Newzen reported that Jimin has officially become a member of the Green Noble Club. It is a group of major donors to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a representative organization for advocacy for children that is managed by Yonsei University, South Korea. This includes donors who together or cumulatively donate 100 million won or more, or pledge to donate 100 million won (approximately Rs 63, 26,840.75) within 5 years. So far the contract amount is said to have reached 56.4 billion Won.
Geminis are also known for donating as a birthday celebration. However, this time the exact amount donated by the member is not yet known. The agency, Big Hit Music, has also not given any official statement regarding the matter and according to Korean media reports, Jimin does not want his donation to be published.
Jimin BTS’s inclusion in the donor community follows his group friend, J-Hope, who became an official member in 2019. Meanwhile Jimin was caught replying to birthday wishes from ARMYs around the world via fan forum, Weavers.
For the first time since the pandemic, BTS will give its first live performance in a series of shows starting November 27 at Sophie Stadium near Los Angeles.
