In the most recent development, BTS’ Gin and their managing company, Hybe Labels, launched a bunch of merchandise designed by Gin himself. These included special pillows, pajamas and a bunch of other items that could be used on a regular basis. However, the prices mentioned on the site were around US$110 (8k plus) for most items and some articles were even more expensive. ARMYs flooded social media platforms as they were disappointed with the high prices.

Within the next few hours, Jin himself expressed his views on the prices and wrote on Weavers, “Although I asked him to use a good material for the pajamas at what price… I was also surprised. ” Fans were excited to see him speak for ARMY, although it went against his own management company.

A group of netizens also brought back the Jinhit joke and asked them to bring down the prices and make them more affordable. See a bunch of responses here.
