CBS̵6; The fall schedule reveal party has been postponed to next week due to the WGA strike. The network sent out a note about the cancellation on Monday night.
The event was scheduled for May 9 at Newhouse on May 9. CBS stated that they planned to reschedule the party at a later date.
CBS is not holding its traditional New York Upfront presentation this year. Instead, the network was to hold a reception in Los Angeles, at which the stars and writer-producers were to appear.
The start of the WGA work stoppage on Tuesday put the event in dire straits As the protesters are away from campaigning duties when they are on strike and if the party will hold a dharna, the actors will not have to cross the picket line to participate.
The reception was to follow CBS’s announcement of its 2023/24 fall schedule as scheduled next week.
