Chris Hemsworth Feels It Is Game Over For Thor In His Next Marvel Film: “Am I At That Stage? Who Knows?”

Chris Hemsworth’s time as Thor in the MCU may be coming to an end, as the actor feels his next appearance should be his last. The actor who played one of the original Avengers has four standalone movies at Marvel. he recently appeared in love and thunder,

Directed by Taika Waititi, it saw the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and the MCU debut of Christian Bale. The film grew at the box office compared to the previous parts, except for Ragnarok. Love and Thunder earned $760 million over its entire run.

Coming back to the point, Chris Hemsworth has now spoken about his possible exit from the MCU as Thor during his interview with Vanity Fair. “Yeah for sure. I think if I did it again we’d probably have to close the book, you know what I mean? I feel like maybe it warrants it,” the Avengers: Endgame actor he said.

“I think it will probably be the finale, but it’s not based on anything anyone’s told or any kind of plans. You have the birth of a hero, the journey of a hero, then the death of a hero, and I don’t know – am I at that stage? Who knows?,” added Chris Hemsworth while talking about stepping out as Thor in the next film.

it’s not the first time Hemsworth Has talked about his future as an Asgardian. Previously, the actor noted how he would continue to play the role until someone took him off stage. Of course, this would not be possible, and his character would eventually come to an end.

Marvel has introduced several new characters and projects for Phase 5 and 6. A new team of Avengers could also be set. There is a high possibility that Chris Hemsworth’s next appearance as Thor could be his last.
