Actor Dhruv, who is the son of one of the finest actors of Indian cinema, Vikram, has revealed how he was stunned by his father’s hard work.
Attending the trailer launch event of Chiyaan Vikram’s eagerly awaited action thriller ‘Cobra’, Dhruv said: “I would have attended the event even if I was not an actor. Three years ago, when dad worked on ‘Cobra’ I asked him what would be special about this film. He replied: “Ajay (director Ajay Gnanamuthu) Anna’s vision, creativity and his progressive nature. All these will make this film special. So, this film as much as It is about Appa as much as it is about director Ajay Gnanamuthu. I am sure this film will be a huge success because of director Ajay’s attitude that he has to execute his vision.”
Revealing that his father was an exceptionally hardworking actor, Dhruv then shared an incident that happened on the sets of ‘Mahaan’, a film in which he and his father worked together.
“You all know that my dad is a hardworking person. While working in ‘Mahan’ I noticed something important. We were shooting an intense scene and it was a tough exercise. I died of exhaustion after shooting it. But my father continued to work even after shooting the scene. He was seen doing various kinds of work. I asked my father, ‘After so many demanding scenes, I do not have the strength to work. How is it that you have so much energy to do these things even after such a taxing scene?’ He replied: ‘It may be because I have fought so much for this profession, I do not find anything difficult for this place.’ I realized he was something special. ,
