“According to the physicians caring for Dummer Hamlin at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Dummer has shown marked improvement over the past 24 hours,” reads the statement (see it below). “While still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he is neurologically intact. His lungs are on the mend and he continues to make progress. We are grateful for all the love and support he has received. “
Hamlin collapsed on the field after suffering cardiac arrest during a Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati.
“Our boy is doing better, is awake and showing more signs of improvement,” Bills cornerback Caire alum tweeted today. “Thank you God. Please keep praying. All the love [No.] 3!”
On Monday, he was listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit of the University of Cincinnati, following the subsequent collapse of Tackle and Hamlin.
