Noted television personality, Amir Liaquat Hussain passed away under mysterious circumstances on 9 June after he was found unconscious at his residence, and was later pronounced dead. In order to unravel the real reason behind the sudden demise of Amir Liaquat, a local court in Karachi on June 20 ordered an autopsy of Amir Liaquat.
The Sindh Health Department recently issued a notification regarding the autopsy of Amir Liaquat, according to which a six-member medical board would be constituted for the autopsy of Amir Liaquat. The medical board will be headed by surgeon Samiya Syed. According to the notification, the post-mortem will be conducted on June 23 in the presence of magistrates and police officials. Some samples of Amir Liaquat’s body will be taken from the grave to the laboratory for chemical testing, to find out the real reason behind his death, without changing his body. Police officials have been ordered to make necessary arrangements for the post-mortem.
