Grammy award winner DJ Khaled visited Mecca for Umrah and said that the moment he visited Mecca, his eyes were filled with tears.
Khalid, who is known for tracks like ‘I’m the One’, ‘Wild Thoughts’ and ‘Higher’, shared several pictures and videos from his visit to the Kaaba.
DJ Khaled wrote: “When I walked into Mecca, tears welled up in my eyes. Tears of happiness. I wanted to go to Mecca to pray and express my gratitude to Allah for the rest of my life. I did it for the world.” Prayed for more love, more life, more peace, more joy, more health and safety for all of us.God is the greatest!!!!!It’s gorgeous we all love here and God did!! !!!!!”
Dj Khaled, is an American DJ, record executive, record producer, and rapper. Khaled first gained recognition as a radio host in the early 1990s, and translated his popularity by working with hip hop collective Terror Squad as a DJ for their live performances.
After receiving production credits on the group’s material, Khalid released his debut studio album ‘Listen… The Album’ in 2006, which earned gold certification. He followed it up with ‘We’re the Best’ (2007), which featured the top 20 single ‘I’m So Hood’. Her other two releases ‘We Global’ (2008) and ‘Victory’ (2010) charted in the top ten on the US Billboard 200, the latter being the single ‘All I Do Is Win’, which was eventually certified triple platinum.
