Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 has ended the drought at the box office and has proved to be a huge relief for Bollywood. The film crossed the 200 crore mark in India on Day 23 and has surpassed 150% investment return. With this, it is now a bonafide super-hit, joining The Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in the list.

Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is an official remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam film Released in 2021 with the same name. As there was a negative sentiment against Bollywood remakes, everyone was skeptical about the film’s success. However, the sequel of Drishyam has been surprising everyone with its numbers ever since its release.
