Drishyam 2 Box Office: Film is a superhit as it enters Rs. 100 Crore Club in just one week; Uunchai crosses Rs. 25 crores after two weeks :Bollywood Box Office – Bollywood Hungama

Drishyam 2 Emerged as a real superhit at the box office by scoring a straight century in a week. While entering Rs. 100 crore club in itself is coming at a premium, for a film to do so in just 7 days is really fantastic. This was due to excellent growth over the weekend after very good opening numbers and then being very stable during the weekdays. Now it is ticking all the right boxes against all the boxes as this is a recipe for a film with a long run, something that the Ajay Devgn starrer is all set to do.

Currently, the film earns Rs. 104.66 crore and in the process it has crossed the number of lifetime veterans live long (Rs 85.25 crore), Vikram Vedha (Rs 77.51 crore), Ram Setu (Rs 71.62 crore), Emperor Prithviraj (Rs.68.05 crore) and Lal Singh Chadha (Rs 58.68 crore). Of course, at least some of these movies deserved longer runs, but 2022 has been very unpredictable for the movie business. It’s talk of a film reshaping the industry and hopefully with the Abhishek Pathak directorial the film has now happened and the audience will start flocking to the theatres.

in my own little way, height have also contributed in this direction. The film collected Rs. 17.02 crores on limited release. However, when word of mouth began to be cast for the film, it came Drishyam 2 And the momentum shifted towards that film in a big way. As it is, Sooraj Barjatya’s film was appealing to a limited audience base and hence the impact was felt even more. As a result, in the second week around Rs. There was a decline in numbers with 9 crores are coming. The total gross of the film is currently Rs. 26.42 crore and will eventually surpass Rs. 30 crore mark. Had the ability to go for Rs. 35-40 crore range but now it will be seen more on OTT and satellite circuit.
