in the clip, who hit the officer dune Twitter account, you can see a masked figure who appears to be Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides planting a device in a sand dune in an attempt to lure out the sandworm. The figure quickly retreats, and the title credits begin to play, followed by the cast, including a bald Austin Butler as Fayed-Rautha. Check out the full teaser and poster below.
Warner Bros. has also confirmed that the first official trailer for The Dunes: Part Two Will be on the web tomorrow. The studio shared footage during a presentation of Warner Bros. at the Cinemacon in Las Vegas last week ZendayaTimothée Chalamet, and Villeneuve on stage.
The first film, though only in theaters and HBO Max, was one of Warner’s highest-grossing pictures that year, grossing $108.3M domestically and $402M worldwide. It won six Oscars and received a Best Picture nomination.
The sequel will trace the journey of Paul Atreides (Chalamet), as he unites with Chani (Zendaya) and Freeman in a quest for revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he attempts to prevent a terrifying future that only he can see.
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skargård, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem and Charlotte Rampling return to the franchise in The Legendary-produced film alongside new cast members Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux, Christopher Walken, Tim Are. Blake Nelson and others.
