Abhilash Thapliyal, the talented Indian comedian and actor, has been having an inspiring journey from his early days as an actor to being a radio personality. Thapliyal’s career has been nothing short of remarkable, and his rise to fame has been fueled by his talent and his unwavering commitment to his craft. When asked how he felt that his work was getting recognition even though his debut film had performed poorly. He said, “I was not even expecting my first film. I am the son of a soldier. No one in my family has anything to do with the entertainment industry. I was the first person to do radio. From there, I did a few TVCs, made brief appearances, and acted in fiction shows. Then I got a film. So whatever I have got, it has come as a bonus.”
He continued and said, “When I came to Mumbai, I never dreamed of becoming an actor. I wanted to do the character of The Kapil Sharma Show. I remember there were many hoarding posters all over Mumbai before the release of my first film. This was a big deal for me. Thus, I guess its poor performance never bothered me.”
He concluded by saying, “It was an amazing experience for me. I think box office success is not important, sometimes these projects give you love. I was happy anyway.”
As the conversation progressed, Abhilash said, “I am very fortunate to have got a chance to work with a bunch of renowned directors in such a short span of time. I did Great With Ashwini Iyer. i worked with ajay behl Foggy, I found Field I am just lucky with Amit Sharma but with every project I am working with a renowned actor. Since I am not a trained actor, I keep reassuring myself that I am doing well.
On the professional front, Abhilash will be next seen in Kennedy, an Anurag Kashyap directorial. Starring Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat in the lead, the film will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this year ahead of its release.
