Mithun Chakraborty’s son Namashi Chakraborty is all set to make his debut with Rajkumar Santoshi’s Bad Boy. The film is produced by Sajid Qureshi of Inbox Pictures. It also introduces Sajid Qureshi’s daughter Amreen Qureshi in this romantic comedy.

in exclusive interview with bollywood ruckus, When Namashi Chakraborty was asked about the experience of working with Rajkumar Santoshi in his debut film, he replied, “It was amazing. just to be on the set of a man who made classics like Andaz Apna Apna, Ghayal, Ghatak, Damini And a few other iconic films too… Raj ji has actually okayed me as his bad boy, it was really like sinking in at first. I feel it is the right place, the right time and when destiny comes into play, I feel everything works out. But working with a brilliant director was extraordinary.
Many actors say that Rajkumar Santoshi himself is a good actor. Talking about the same, Namashi said, “Honestly, even though we have around ten actors in our film, there are a lot of lead actors apart from me and Amrin, but the best actor on the sets was Mr. Rajkumar Santoshi. The best thing about Raj ji is that he is not only a hit director, but he is also a brilliant actor. So, when he was directing me or Shashwat da ,Shashwat Chatterjee), or Johnny Bhai (Johnny Lever), I was like, well, he being a man can probably get our body language and mannerisms in a certain way. But the way he would direct Amreen was worth watching. It was a pleasure to watch him directing a woman with such ease and really banging the body language and everything.
He said, “Watching Raj ji on the set every day was like a masterclass and I have to admit that in all the comedy parts of this film, I literally imitated Raj ji and said, ‘You tell me that you How do you want it and that’s exactly it. I’ll do it’. So, he’s really a master actor-director in every sense and he’s been there for every single shot for 70 days and he’s directed us and supported us during the shoot.
Played by Rajkumar Santoshi, bad boy Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Darshan Jariwala and Shashwat Chatterjee also feature in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Anjum Qureshi and Sajid Qureshi under the banner of Inbox Pictures and is scheduled to hit the theaters on April 28, 2023.
