Fast X, the latest addition to the Fast and Furious film family, has done really well at the Indian box office. Starring Louis Leterrier, the 10th installment stars Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Sung Kang, john cena and others reprising their roles. In India, the franchise has a good following and has already made huge profits in the past. Now, the latest release is also on its way to enter the 100 crore club and is already a ‘hit’ at the box office.
As per the last update (2nd Friday) Fast X has earned 84 crore* at the Indian box office. The film is said to have a distribution value (in this case, it would be considered a cost/budget). 40 crores for its Indian release. If we subtract that number from the total collection, the ROI (Return on Investment) stands at 44 crores, In percentage terms, this equates to a gain of 110%. And that makes it a clean ‘hit’ at the box office by Koimoi’s standards!

Meanwhile, director Louis Leterrier sits at the helm for the next two films in the high-speed franchise, which were supposed to be the final installment in the long-running series, but have now roped in the star Vin Diesel suggesting that there may be more photos yet to come.
Lewis also admitted that it’s “hard to answer” whether Fast X Part 2 will bring the curtains down on the franchise and pointed out that the coronavirus pandemic highlighted the uncertainty in the film industry when speaking to Entertainment Weekly.
