National Award winning filmmaker Subhash Ghai on Thursday remembered late Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar’s contribution on his first death anniversary.

Ghai worked with Kumar in three successful films – ‘Vidhata’, ‘Karma’ and ‘Saudagar’ between 1982 and 1991.

Remembering veteran actor Dilip Kumar, Ghai said, “My words fail me to pay my tributes to the greatest legend of Indian cinema. Dilip Kumar Today on his death anniversary. He listened to his director in every scene as a student and acted like a master on screen. He is both my favorite actor and person. You are always with us, Saab.”

Dilip Kumar was one of the great actors of Indian cinema with several award-winning performances between 1944 and 1999.

Some of Dilip Kumar’s iconic films are known for Indian cinema Many names like ‘Naya Daur’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Jugnu’, ‘Ram and Shyam’ were christened.

Recently, the late actor’s wife Saira Banu took to social media to extend not only heartfelt wishes for her late husband. The former actress couldn’t help but cried remembering the actor.

Dilip Kumar died last year at the age of 98 in Mumbai.
