Since the death of Amir Liaquat, his family is involved in a legal battle over the removal of his body and then the post-mortem. Amir’s children, Ahmed and Dua, had earlier announced that they did not suspect any foul play and did not want an autopsy. Amir Liaquat was buried in the cemetery of Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazar.
Later a civil court named Abdul Ahad went to court and obtained orders for excavation and autopsy of Amir Liaquat. Citizen was called by the lawyers of Amir Liaquat’s family to have some kind of political rivalry with Amir while he was alive. Aamir’s third ex-wife Dania Malik also became a part of the case, while Aamir’s children and first ex-wife Bushra Iqbal opposed it.
Today, the court has finally set aside the order to exhume Amir Liaquat’s body. Bushra Iqbal took to Instagram and happily shared the news as she and her kids didn’t want to inflict more pain on Aamir Liaquat. Bushra said she has finally got justice and will share more details soon. What Bushra Iqbal said:
We hope this will prove to be the end of the legal battle of Aamir’s family and may they find peace now.
