Fukrey 3: Ali Fazal BREAKS SILENCE on his absence from the third installment of the hit franchise; says, ‘Zafar ko kabhi kabhi…’  | Bollywood Life

A few days back, the poster of the much-awaited Fukrey 3 was unveiled and actor Ali Fazal went missing. Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment unveils the new poster announcing the release date of the hit franchise. The poster featured all the characters of the comedy-drama but Ali Fazal, who played a pivotal role, was missing. This created curiosity among fans and asked the makers to clarify the separation of the actors. However, the actor himself released a statement revealing why he opted out of Fukrey’s third chapter. Ali Fazal Played the role of Zafar in the Fukrey series. He was the fourth member of the gang of boys including Pulkit Samrat, Varun SharmaAnd Manjot Singh, The rest of the three Fukra characters were seen in the poster along with Bholi Punjaban aka Richa Chadha and Panditji aka Panditji Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, who is missing, revealed that another equally important project of his is clashing with Fukrey 3. He had left the hit comedy-drama to choose one. The project for which the actor teamed up with is the third season of the popular series Mirzapur, which is slated to release this year. In the statement, Fazal first apologized to his fans and viewers and confirmed that Zafar will be absent from Fukrey 3. These two universes sometimes overlap. “Sorry guys, not this time! He further added that a fukra is always a fukra so he will be around but for the third film of Fukra, Bholi and Pandit ji will not be on screen. He wanted to be a part of the third installment but had to turn down the project due to time and schedule. He further hinted at part four of Fukrey and said that he will be back at some point in the future soon. Zafar will come back after a short detour to entertain you guys, he added. So does this mean that Fukrey 4 has been announced even before the release of Fukrey 3?

Fukrey 3 is an extended chapter of the comedy series Fukrey that released in 2013, while the second installment followed in 2017. It is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Farhan Akhtar Under the Excel Entertainment banner. It stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh and Pankaj Tripathi. Fukrey 3 will open in theaters on 7 September 2023.
