Actress Genelia Deshmukh is embarking on a six-week long fitness journey and says the coming weeks are all about taking control of her routine and spending at least an hour on herself.

Talking about her plan of action, she says, “Being healthy means knowing yourself and working on your problem areas. These six weeks are all about handling my routine and spending at least an hour on myself. ,

actress who is married to actor Riteish Deshmukh And is the mother of two young boys, adding: “As a mom, I think it’s really important to give myself this time and attention.”

Genelia Deshmukh further added, “I feel like I want to push all the barriers I see in the journey and not just glamorize fitness or restrict it to a particular shape or size but for myself and through the process. I want to rediscover myself – whether it is through strength, form, perseverance or hard work.”

She continued: “I often tell my kids to set their own benchmarks, and create their own competition, so it’s high time I start following that as well. See how it goes. So excited and looking forward to it!”

On the work front, Genelia Deshmukh’s last outing on the silver screen was the 2020 film It’s My Life. His 2022 lineup includes his first Marathi film Ved and Mr. Riteish Deshmukh,
