Ginni Virdi of Udaan fame alleges domestic abuse by husband Parminder Singh Malhi

Ginni Virdi, known for her daily soap Udaan, is battling ups and downs in her married life. She took a break from the daily soap world after her marriage in 2017. She married Parminder Singh Malhi, a lawyer living in Canada. According to ETimes TV, the two have parted ways. She has been living alone for the past one year with her two-year-old daughter Eve. It seems that he had an arranged marriage with her on January 1, 2017. According to her, Parminder Malhi’s alleged drinking and anger issues created problems in their marriage. The couple had a baby boy in February 2020 but this did not improve their relationship. It seems that he has informed the police as well. Ginni Virdi said she had filed a complaint with the Charkop police station in June 2021, when he allegedly assaulted her and threw her child on the floor. She has also said that he hit her seven days after her delivery in Canada. The police had registered an FIR on 5 October 2021. It seems that she is living with her parents right now. The divorce case is going on in the court. She said that she plans to resume acting soon. Ginni Virdi said that she quit acting because she wanted her to enjoy marital bliss but it is not happening. Parminder Singh Malhi has denied all the claims. He told ETimes TV that he never raised his hand on her. She told the publication that Ginni Virdi should have complained to the police in Canada if he had hit her a few days after delivery. He also says that his brother and he conspired to implicate him. They seem to have reached their place within ten minutes when he alleged that he assaulted her. He said that he had allegedly lodged the complaint even before the incident took place. He was quoted as saying, “Today, I cannot meet my son unless I demand expensive gifts or gadgets from him. It was a perfect marriage until I stopped spending. “
