Harrison Ford Is Done With Indiana Jones After ‘Dial Of Destiny’ & Reveals He “Will Not Be Involved” With TV Series

Harrison Ford is revealing Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny He will be playing the role of an archaeologist for the last time.

“It’s the final film in the series, and it’s the last time I’ll be playing the character,” Ford told total film magazine. “I hope this will be the last time he appears in a film.”

For those who were hoping that Ford would appear in the television series that is in development, the actor said that he “will not be involved if it turns out to be successful.”

The fifth installment of the Indiana Jones saga is directed by James Mangold and the film’s opening sequence is set in the following years the last crusade (1989) and kingdom of the crystal skull (2008).

Mangold recently said, “I wanted a chance to dive into an old picture of George and Steven so completely and give the audience an adrenaline rush.” Empire, “And then we’re out, and you find yourself in 1969.
