J-Hope, a member of K-pop superband BTS, began a solo venture and entered the US Billboard main singles chart with ‘More’.
Billboard said on social media on Monday that the song debuted at number 82 on the Hot 100 chart this week, Yonhap reported.
It came out on July 1 as a pre-release track from ‘Jack in the Box’, J-Hope’s solo debut album scheduled to be released on Friday.
J-Hope previously reached 81 on the charts in 2019 with a collaborative single ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ with American singer-actor Becky G.
‘More’ is an old school hip-hop song with strong drum beats and guitar The rapper-dancer seems to accompany the song about hoping he will show the world a greater side of himself. This tune debuted at number 70 on British Official Singles Chart.
