Shahid Kapoor uploaded a video of himself demonstrating his training routine to play the role of a professional cricketer in jersey, and it clearly shows all that we have mentioned above. Earlier, at the Jersey trailer launch, Shahid Kapoor opened up about how he had to go around seeking work even after delivering a monstrous blockbuster. Kabir Singh, “After Kabir Singh was released, I went to everyone like a beggar. I went to all the people who made these 200-250 crore films. I’ve never been a part of this club, so it was completely new to me. After spending 15-16 years in the industry, I have never had such a huge grosser. So, when it finally happened, I didn’t know where to go, it was completely new to me. You might say, I tried my best not to do that (the jersey that was offered to her before doing Kabir Singh). So, credit goes to Gautham (Gautam Tinnanuri, director) for waiting for me, working with me, and I am very happy that I did. I can safely say that this is my best film till date,” Shahid said.
