Bollywood actor John Abraham, who is playing a triple role for the first time in his career in his upcoming film ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’, says the film is specially made for the mass audience that visits theatres. and enjoy the outdoors. -And out commercial film.
The film is a sequel and the first installment was released in 2018.
According to the actor, the second part has been made purely after getting approval from the translated audience at the box office.
After the release of the trailer, it has received a lot of negative reactions on social media, John opened up on his thoughts in a conversation with IANS.
John told IANS, “First of all, our film ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ is made for the general audience and not the elite. People who buy tickets, go to theatres, especially in a small town The single-screen theater audience in the U.S. doesn’t care about reviews and critical explanations. They want to be entertained.
Hence his enthusiasm is reflected in the box-office collections as well. For us, actors and producers, this is the most important factor. I should also mention that there is a clear disconnect between what is happening on social media and how it plays out at the box-office collections. We have made this film expressly for the audience who came to watch ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
He further added, “Before the release so we as producers of the film are more concerned about the number of screens, first day collections and everything to do with the business of the film. After the pandemic, things are back now, Theater releases and getting people back to theaters is very important to boost business.”
Satyamev Jayate 2 is directed by Milap Zaveri, produced by T-Series Films and Emmay Entertainment, and also features. Divya Khosla Kumar, Harsh Chhaya, Anoop Soni, Gautami Kapoor, among others.
I’m talking about his character movieJohn said, “I knew I would play two characters, one inspired by the first part of the film and the other one that of a police officer. They are twin brothers and when the story goes into flashbacks, I am also playing the role of these two youngsters. I am playing the role of father.
“Initially, I was not convinced to play the father, but eventually, I did. That character is set in a different time and era. Whereas the story of DSP Jai and Satya is set in today’s time. Though this was not the first time I played the role of a police officer, as you know I played a real life iconic personality like late DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in ‘Batla House’ but playing the character of DSP Jai was very different. He is a noble but funny man who takes off his uniform in a face-to-face encounter with a vigilante. It will be fun for our audience to watch the characters.”
‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ will hit the theaters on November 25.
