According to The Ankler, Joker 2’s script has faced unexpected delays. However, sadly, it does not reveal the reason behind it. But the report states that Todd Phillips, who is also the author of Joaquin Phoenix starringHaven’t changed in the draft script yet.
However, even if the script of Joker 2 starts by this year, the production may take place till 2023, and the film may release in 2024. But it’s all a shot in the dark as nothing has been officially confirmed yet. The previous film inspired us to look at Arthur Fleck from a different perspective. Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing job transforming into the Clown Prince of Crime.
Robert Pattinson’s The Batman eventually featured the supervillain. Many fans were disappointed that it wasn’t Phoenix. However, given that the Matt Reeves directorial was not part of the DCEU timeline, it makes sense that a new actor, Barry Keoghan, would play the character.
