Actress Shweta Tripathi revealed how emotional she got while getting acid attack make-up done for the first time for ‘Kaalkoot’.
A touching moment during the make-up test was when she saw herself transform into character for the first time with extremely realistic make-up of an acid attack survivor. Tears welled up in his eyes as he was overwhelmed by the reflection in the mirror.
In that moment, she couldn’t help but wonder how it must feel for real survivors facing the lasting consequences of such horrific acts in real life.

Shweta was overwhelmed.
“Emotions overwhelmed me, and the tears flowed freely as I could not help but consider the real survivors, their enduring pain and unwavering resilience. It is a poignant reminder of the enormous responsibility we have to do justice to their stories and bring their experiences to the fore.
