Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is suffering from dengue, says though she could not leave her room, the spirit of national celebration has taken over her in the most powerful way.

On India’s 75th Independence Day, Kangana posted a picture on her Instagram story on Monday taking Ivy in bed.

Kangana said, “I couldn’t get out of my room because the spirit of national celebration has taken over me in the most powerful way. My domestic staff, nurses and gardeners have greeted each other, I said this this morning. Heard the speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister. Ranaut wrote.

Kangana Ranaut continued, “They say one person can change the world, true to our PM @narendramodi ji I have never in my life had such zeal of nationalism, duty and optimism for the future among people saw …”

He said: “Perhaps there is such a vast consciousness that we call the Avatar.. who can rise not only but not hundreds or thousands but uplift the entire humanity… Jai Hind.”

These days Kangana is preparing for her next film, which is titled ‘emergency‘, where she will be seen playing the character of Indira Gandhi.

‘Emergency’, as the title suggests, is about the state of internal emergency declared by Indira Gandhi on June 25, 1975. This lasted till March 21, 1977, when the Janata Party came to power in a historic election.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had slammed the late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Played the role of Jayalalithaa.Thalaivi‘ and Rani Lakshmibai in ‘Manikarnika’.
