Elaborating on the said moment of catharsis, she said, “I used to refuse to go to award functions, I used to refuse so many top magazine photoshoots, and people wondered, what’s wrong with that? He kept telling me, ‘You don’t know what you are doing, you are making a big mistake, you are at such a height, you shouldn’t give up on all this.’ But I always thought to myself, what is it benefiting me, how is it helping me grow as a person as an artist? So, I waited what was right and then this ( Dhakad) came along.”
