Salman Khan, who continues to enjoy his bachelorhood, is rumored to have dated several actresses and among them was Sangeeta Bijlani, who was expected to date the Bollywood superstar in the 80s. Recently, Sony TV̵7;s comedy sketch show The Kapil Sharma Show invited popular actresses from the 80s, including Varsha Usgaonkar and Mandakini along with the Tridev actress. The show celebrated the era of these actresses and at the same time, host Kapil Sharma teased Bijlani about her alleged love interest Khan as well as her ex-cricketer-husband Mohammad Azharuddin.

Readers would recall that Sangeeta Bijlani was rumored to be dating Salman Khan for almost a decade. While earlier reports also suggested that the two were considering getting engaged, the actress surprised many by announcing her wedding with former Indian cricket captain Azharuddin. Pointing to the same, the host of The Kapil Sharma Show said, “Only two things run in India – one is Bollywood, the other is cricket. But she is such an actress who was crazy about both Bollywood and cricket)”.
His remark left everyone including judge Archana Puran Singh in splits and taking it in his stride, Bijlani too agreed to the remark. In the same episode, Bijlani also talks about his first break in Bollywood which was given by Rajeev Rai in the film Trinity, The film was a multi-starrer, in which Bijlani starred opposite Jackie Shroff.
Sangeeta Bijlani married with Mohd Azharuddin in 1996 but after marriage she left the film industry. However, the actress called off her marriage with the former Indian cricketer in 2010.
