Kathryn Bigelow To Direct Adaptation Of David Koepp Novel ‘Aurora’ For Netflix

Katherine Bigelow Looks like he’s got his next film as the Oscar winner prepares to direct aurora, an adaptation of David Koeppo The novel that Netflix just penned. Greg Shapiro and Gavin Polone will produce. Koep will also make changes to the script.

The story follows the events of a solar storm that knocks out most of humanity’s power grid and focuses on the personal story of a divorced mother who is now forced to protect her teen and her brother, a wealthy Silicon Valley CEO. He should do everything he has. For such a disaster, a luxurious bunker was built in the desert.

The book will be published by HarperCollins on June 7.

Bigelow recently directed the thriller Detroit and had previously helmed such award contenders zero dark thirty And hurt Locker. It is repealed by CAA.
