“Ziddi Dil Mane Na” actress Kaveri Priyam will be seen essaying the lead role of Amrita in the new show “Dil Diya Gallan”.
The show is about the pain and suffering of parents due to differences with their children. It revolves around Amrita, who learns the pain of her parents and tries to resolve the differences between her parents and grandparents.
Kaveri Priyam, who garnered much acclaim for playing a negative character in her debut TV show ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’, is quite excited about her new project which is a family drama.
“I’m thrilled to play this interesting character representing the third generation who brings a whole new perspective to families.”
Talking about her character in the daily soap, Kaveri Priyam said that it is related and different from her previous roles.
“The character defining qualities of Amrita are her practicality, intelligence and responsibility and she is very similar to me in real life. I believe that I too approach situations fairly and differently like Amrita. This is the first time I am playing such a character, which is modern and rooted.”
‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ stars Pankaj Berry, Sandeep Baswana and Jasjit Babbar among others. It will soon air on Sony SAB.
